Training

The ACP is currently developing several training opportunities in phlebology.

Our new training database will allow individuals seeking phlebology training to identify and pursue training opportunities in their areas. In addition, the ACP’s Preceptorship Program Development Task Force is working to develop a defined and organized ACP phlebology preceptor program where trainees will be provided an opportunity to observe expert phlebologists in an office setting.

The committee will define learning objectives, preceptor selection criteria, preceptor requirements, guidelines and responsibilities, and duration of preceptorship. They will also recommend and consider financial, indemnity, documentation, evaluation, and quality assurance aspects of the preceptor program.
